To celebrate that anniversary ,many events will be organized at Le Clos-Lucé the manor-house where Leonardo passed away on 2 May 1519! the peak of those events will be without doubt the exhibition dedicated to the tapestry of “The last supper/l’Utilma cena” commissionned by the mother of Francis 1st king of France who in his turn offered it to Pope Clement VII to celebrate the marriage between the Pope’s niece, Catherine di Medici and the futur king of France, Henri II, in 1533.

The exhibition begins on June 7th and will last only 2 months!
